Kuznetsova Svetlana Alexandrovna

Born on March 21, 1979 in Kazan.
Since childhood, she has been fond of drawing.
In 1996, she graduated from the Physics and Mathematics Lyceum No. 131.
In 2002, she graduated from the Geography Faculty of the KSU. Lenin Street.
Since 2002, she has worked as a print designer and web designer.
Since 2013, she has been studying painting on her own, taking master classes from artists (Tatiana Artykova, Vyacheslav Zaitsev, Elena Tarutina, Marina Trushnikova).
In 2015, she attended painting courses at the Surikov Institute in Moscow.
2018 Graduated from the course "Contemporary Art" at the "ProFile virtual school", the author of the lectures is art critic Alexey Shadrin.
In 2025, she joined the Union of Russian Artists.
Married, 6 children.

Exhibitions

2015 - participated for the first time in the exhibition "Teachers and Students" in Moscow at the House of Artists.

2026 - passed the competitive selection for the Open Archive exhibition at the Mikhail Shemyakin Center.

Description

The central visible source of everything in our world is the Sun. The sun gives us warmth, energy of existence, as well as clarity of understanding what is what. We see and perceive objects when there is light. Light illuminates our lives, which are contentedly often plunged into darkness. The play of light is the main theme of my work and observations of nature and the elements. Light is not only a physical parameter, but also a spiritual one, which I try to indirectly reflect in my works.
